Refund policy
As a valued customer of CLEA, we would like to thank you for your purchase. We offer returns within 14 days of receiving your order. In the instance that you may need to return one of your items, the following terms and conditions apply.
Returns Process
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from CLEA. To make a return please email us at customercare@clea-galerie.com.au and we will advise the next steps on how to process your return.
Please keep in mind that original shipping charges are non-refundable and we do not cover the cost of return postage. When you're ready to return your item(s), please place them back in the original shipping parcel along with your original invoice. While your items are in transit back to us, please note that CLEA cannot be held liable for any loss or damage that may occur. For peace of mind, we recommend using a traceable delivery method and keeping a record of your tracking number. For international customers, please be aware that any duties and taxes paid to clear your delivery are non-refundable upon returning your item.
Full Priced Items
Full priced items purchased online are eligible for a refund. AfterPay returns are able to be refunded.
Sale Items
Items that have been purchased during a sale event or with a discount are eligible for an e-boutique credit only.
Made to Order
All made to order pieces are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges on made to order items, so please take care when selecting. If you need guidance, our size guide is available on each product page and we're happy to assist via email prior to placing your order. In the unlikely event that your order arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us at customercare@clea-galerie.com.au within 7 days of receipt.
Final Sale
Items marked 'final sale' are ineligible for return, unless deemed faulty. If you are unsure about sizing or fit, please refer to our size guide, or email us at customercare@clea-galerie.com.au.
Archive & Sample Sales
All archive and sample sale items are final sale. We do not accept change-of-mind returns, exchanges, or offer store credit on sale purchases. We are unable to amend or cancel orders once placed. Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law remain protected. For customers in the European Union, additional rights may apply - please refer to our EU Terms & Conditions. Conditions of Return
Please ensure the below conditions are met before submitting your return request. Contact needs to be made to customercare@clea-galerie.com.au within 14 days of receiving the order. Once return instructions have been issued, the item(s) need to be in the post within 1 week. Item(s) must be in perfect condition and must not have been worn, altered, damaged, or washed. Be careful of make-up rubbing on garments as we will be unable to accept your return if this occurs. Item(s) must be in original packaging with all tags attached. E-gift cards cannot be returned.
Exchanges
We are unable to reserve items. If you would like to exchange for a new size, please make a new purchase and we will refund your original item when it is returned.

Returns
If an item is assessed and considered faulty, CLEA offers several suitable solutions if contacted within 14 days of receipt. Please note that items damaged as a result of wear and tear or incorrect garment care are not considered faulty. If you have a faulty item please contact our Customer Care team with a brief description and a photo or two showing the defect.
Receiving a Refund
Once your return is received by Customer Care, the item(s) will be assessed to ensure it complies with our policy and a return outcome will be determined within 2 working days. Your refund will be credited to the original payment method. Successful returns can take up to 5–10 business days to appear in your account due to varying processing times between payment providers. In the event of an unsuccessful return outcome, a member of our Customer Care team will contact you.
